White head black marabou best all around low light jig. Yellow Chartruse and orange also very good. Have caught hundreds on green head and fusia one of my favorites. Pink on fusia and white also good color. Best sunlight color 2-1 more fish than any other with sunlight on the water is green head and flame yarn tied pretty big. orange head and chartruse marabou also a great sunlight color. Pink head and white marabou is a great jig. 8th oz on Clearwater and 1/16th on Salmon above middle fork are best sizes. Short shanked hooks are best and I tie all my jigs with flymaster 210 thread double wrapped on most of the hook from viseclamp on up. Put a couple of silver tinsel in all my black marabou and bucktail jigs

I use red thread on all jigs but it really stands out on the black marabou. I have a friend who fishes the Clearwater and uses exclusively yellow/chartruse head and Black Bucktail with Kevlar flash. He does very well but the hole he fishes never has sunlight. Be carefull in tying marabou to not make it to thick as that takes away from the action of the jig same goes in tying flies. Pink on fusia or pink is also a good color and stealhead orange yarn is also very effective on green and pink heads with direct sunlight on the water.

He's right on the Michael Jackson jig. My most reliable. Got my biggest males with that tipped with shrimp.
