Strawberry with the kiddos

Hey everyone, I'm heading to the berry tonight and am looking for some shore spots where the kids can catch fish. I know strawberry well from a boat but not from shore. I was thinking of hitting up chicken Creek or haws point. Anyone have any better ideas?

Haws point is always a good bet for fishing from shore. If your kids are old enough for a small walk, the east side of Soldier Creek is a bit steeper and deeper water close to shore that I always do well at from shore. There are a few bays that are a small walk to get to but I have never been skunked over there.
