Thanks for helping us keep up to date on this stuff. I appreciate all you do to educate and keep us grounded in reality. I think our managers do a great job overall here in Utah. We (including me) can be pretty harsh on them when things our way.

[#0000FF]I appreciate your appreciation.

Yeah, it is easy to get off on a rant when our fave ponds are having problems. But at least 90 percent of the time...if not 100%...the problems are caused by nature and not by management (or mismanagement).

Like most humans, we tend to take things for granted when everything is peachy. Nobody takes the time or trouble to show gratitude to whoever might be responsible. But let things slip a little in the other direction and we got fingers pointing everywhere.

But...as my old hero Zig Ziglar used to say: "Just remember that when you are pointing a finger at someone else there are three more pointed back at you."

This newsletter is put out every month by the Utah Lake Commission. Don't know any other lake in Utah...except maybe Strawberry or Powell...that has its own special organizations to promote the lake and help the public get more enjoyment from it. And the Commission is definitely not responsible for the problems Utah Lake is experiencing. They only report the facts. Don't shoot the messenger.
