Got out again today to see if the bite had gotten any better since Monday. Had a pretty solid morning between the black frog and bone whopper plopper. Best bite on the frog is from 7-7:45 in the thinnest parts of the mats you can find. Usually the edges but not necessarily. If you see the stringy hydrilla laying on top you're in the right places. After 8 the frog died off. Pulled out the whopper plopper and picked up a few more. No bites on the flats with that, had to be near a contour line in the 7-10 foot range coming off the flats. I'm doing a month long yak tournament online so I don't really go by weight but inches instead. Best fish on the plopper was 20in, best on the frog was 19.25. Came back out at 6 this evening to try some other places. 4 bites on the frog, only one decent bite, the rest just rolling on it. None on the plopper. Action is really limited to 7:15-8:00pm time frame. Hope you guys get on em. If you get on fish there are definitely more in the area and small ones are mixed in with better ones, so there are finally starting to be some better ones in the grass.
