Crawdads in Lake Mohave

I will be going to Lake Mohave sometime in mid-October and besides fishing for the norm, want to lay a few crawdad traps. Is there a crawdad population there and does anyone have suggested areas to trap them? First time on that lake.

I have cleaned stripers from Mohave with crawdads in their stomachs, but never seen a healthy population of them anywhere I've been on the lake. Some lakes have crawdad carcasses littering the shore, don't think I have ever seen one on Mohave.

I'd find an area with cobble rock and drop in a few traps, see if anything shows up....
