36th FIPS Mouche World Fly Fishing Championship 2016

For those that did not know about it just a follow up
Vail, Colorado and the USA hosted the


36th FIPS Mouche World Fly Fishing Championship 2016 last week.

Individual honors go to local fisherman Lance Egan.

Bronze – USA Lance Egan
18 plc pts, 46,240 fish pts, 60 fish caught

and the


Bronze Team USA
162 plc pts, 214,140 fish pts, 289 fish caught

There were 25 teams from all over the wold 125 fishermen competed.

I was there and it was fantastic to watch.

Way to go Lance.

That's great you got to watch that, I'm sure it was very interesting.

Did you get a chance to see what flies they used or what techniques they used during the competition?

That could be some great learning for us amateurs Smile

Did not see the flies. If you see Lance at Cabelas you can ask him. As far as how they fished, they just did everything well. Very focused.
