WOW what a tough 2 days. We started Sat with a run down river to a bank that had produced the previous weekend, started catching small fish from the get-go after a couple of hours we mad a long run to an area that mike knew about. while throwing a frog mike gets a huge explosion, he sets the hook and nothing...we never get another frog bite all day we decide after an hour or 2 to head back up river to where we had been catching small fish and move out just a little. finally hook up with what would be our only keeper for Sat at 3lbs even. So we head into Sun knowing we need to find big fish. with us being boat number 14 on Sat we were boat 2 on Sunday and decided to make a run up river. we get to our first spot and start catching fish from the first cast. we put 2 keepers in the boat and i miss a really good fish that jumps and spits my crank right back at me..We decide to leave and run back down river to fish a flat ..We should have stayed where we were we fished shallow flats drops deep banks and points with not a bite. We finish the day with 2 fish for 3.16. and 6.16 for the 2 days around 8th or so.
