Farmington with my daughter

I took my little girl up to Farmington pond today for an hour. She had a great time up there digging in the dirt and reeling in fish. She was so excited to use her very own pole. She ended the day with 4 caught out of 6 hooked and 13 misses. It took her a minute to figure out how to hook them. Green power bait on a salmon egg hook with a crimped barb made for easy hook removal.

And she is still scared when they flip around on the line lol

There's nothing better than seeing a little girl get real excited about catching fish. My married daughters still talk about the times I took them fishing when they were little. Great memories!
