Jordan River
#1
I walked down there yesterday just for the heck of it. In my good hole, there was about 1/4" of ice, so I couldn't fish that. I went to the mouth of the Mill Creek instead, and fished with a wax worm that I had left over from my last little adventure. I caught 1 carp, 3 whities and a walleye to boot. I wouldn't count on it getting good again till mid april. The water was just too darn cold. I bet I could have walked the ice a week ago, when it was really cold. Oh well, ok day anyway.

It runs from the jordan up to the freeway, at about 2500 south. Its that stream that crosses 9th west by the new golf corse. Up by Main street down to 3rd west it gets really good for browns. Also, by old Cental-new Granite park there are some really nice browns and suckers. Another place I found to fish it is right by rite-aid on 7th east. I dont know if its private, but it worked during lunches last november.
