Hello I'm new to this kind of thing. I now live in northern Texas. However I have lived mostly in the Pacific Northwest and have fished up and down the west coast Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Minnesota, Colorado, Oklahoma, well maybe I should just say most of the state's west of the Mississippi river including it and a number of states in the east. I miss the waters in the west and hope to get back there even for just a little while. I love fly fishing but will not turn down a spinning rod. I also like deep sea fishing too. As much as I love fishing, hunting is a little higher on the charts. But tonight I reminisce of salmon fishing. The Klamath river used to be fun I didn't even need a rod because the salmon would swim between my legs and I just have to reach down and grab the fish till I reached my limit.

Welcome to the site FD7, sounds like you have been all over the West. Have you found our Texas board yet?

Welcome aboard and thanks for taking the time to register.

I also love the fishing in most of the states. The diversity of species as well
as techniques keeps ones interest in the sport.

We look forward to any fishing reports that you may have to share
when you have them.
