New to forums all together. Just posting this as an introduction. I primarily fish for trout or kokanee out at Strawberry/Soldier Creek. Had great success with the Rainbows at Echo on 11/20 and will probably hit it again this coming up Sunday. I intend on start bass fishing this coming up spring. -Cheers

Welcome to the site. Were you trolling for the bows at Echo or bank fishing? Any size to them?

We were bank fishing with night crawlers and I was also throwing one those little spotted Jake's lures. I had the most success with the Jake's. They were all about the same size 16-18 inches. Me and my boy took 7 home and threw 3 or 4 back. It was a fun day for all. And thank you for the welcomes! I'm looking forward to picking people's brains and trading stories.

Wow, you did good, I love those Jakes lures, they don't work everywhere but they are a great lure in a lot of places and they cast a long ways.

It was my first time using a Jake's...it was a lot of fun and I will be using it more often in the future. I was surprised that I caught all Rainbows and no Smallmouth. I was told that it was a smallmouth lure.
