Not sure if everyone that wanted to has seen the ice fishing contest sign up is on going on the contest board... Entry fee is [#ff0000]free [#000000]so sign up and try your luck, five divisions to compete in plus an overall prize category... It will be a lot of fun... (this contest isn't a serious got to win contest, its more for fun and to help encourage you to get out and enjoy the winter ice season..) Plus if I do my job correctly we'll even have some great prizes for the winners and maybe even random drawings of participants so all get a chance at a prize this go around...(not that all will get a prize, but we will try and get you into a drawing for a prize.) Sign up and if we get more than the 49 allowed by law, we may figure out a way to only count those that actually enter a fish in the contest so more can play... Typically not all that enter will get out and catch a fish and enter it... so we may not count you as officially entered until you submit a fish entry.. Contest is anywhere in the state of Utah, season is from first ice to last basically. There are dates, but I don't remember. I'll try to get ya'll a link too. Later J

The place to sign up and rules for the Utah Ice Fishing Challenge is located in a "Sticky" at the top of the Utah Contests Board. Here is the link. We currently have 17 contestants. Check it out and join us for some ice fishing fun.

The Ice Fishing Challenge starts Dec. 10, 2016. We should have some fishable ice in the higher elevations and smaller lakes by then. You can sign up through December 31, 2016 on the Utah Contests board at the following link.
