fished Lindon harbor and the state park today. Not a single fish from under the ice.No one else out there had any luck either.Decided to try the provo river around the state park for walleye. I t was a long shot, but I thought it would not hurt. Went to the first bridge before the lake, And on my second cast I had a large fish on. Unfortunatly it was a carp. Over the next two hours I caught around 30 carp. It was Quite fun considering I was using my 4 foot ice pole. I know they are not the most desirable fish to catch , but I enjoyed myself. I was using a 1/2 oz chartruese jig cast upstream. Then bouncing it off the bottom. Around 75% of the carp were hooked in the mouth. The others I snaged. If you do not my catching carp it is some fast and fun fishing.
