Hey all--
Been a while since I was active in the community here. I've been focusing a lot on photography (my other great love besides fishing) this year, and haven't gotten out on the water much at all.
I'm feeling the ice fishing bug bite something fierce though, so I started doing some research. From what I'm reading, it looks like UL isn't going to be much good this winter. Since I'm in Provo, the next best spot for me from a geography point of view would probably be Deer Creek.
Anyone have any idea how things are looking up there for this winter? I haven't even seen it since like July, so I have no idea what the water levels are like. A quick forum search pulls up some reports of successful ice fishing at DC in past years, but nothing very recent.
I'm down to target any fish, but I'd really love to catch bluegill and/or perch this year. What do you guys think? DC worth my time or should I just suck it up and drive somewhere a bit further away?
