Mantua Ice Fishing Fees

Are there any fees to fish at Mantua in the winter?
Isn't there a fee in summer months to launch a boat?

No. The fee is for boat launching. Officer Barney is utterly unforgiving about parking tickets, however. No winter exceptions.

Parking tickets ? Is parking allowed on the south dike ? We have parked there in the past.

Parking is allowed on the south dike but there is a section near where most people access the ice that is cordoned off with signs. If you park there you can count on getting a ticket.

I've never paid to ice fish there no matter where I've parked

I think that is where the dirt road connects to the dike. vehicles can not make the left turn if vehicles are parked there. Thanks
