Got 2 questions for the readers.
First are snowmobiles allowed on Mantua? Spoke briefly to FB coming off the ice the other day and he thought it was OK to do so but I wanna make sure. I'm not "That Guy" who rides around pissing people off because I'm bored. I need a sled cause my wife likes to go with me but she needs most of the comforts of home. ie. Tent, heater, chairs, snacks etc. All that weighs a ton.
Second. What's the ice report for Starvation?

I saw a couple machines on ice at Mantua when I was there a couple days ago. I'd never take a machine on Mantua with the springs that are in the lake, I'd hate to find one the hard way.

On Saturday there was patches of floating ice that had formed on the main part of Starvation and the backs of the coves have capped with ice.

Styngray, good to see the post. CVFISHER and I watched him and his buddy catch a bunch of good perch and gills Saturday at Mantua. One of them also iced a 17 or 18 inch bass.

I've seen guys take quads up the so I would think snowmobiles are ok. like mentioned be careful of the springs.
