Has anyone heard any information about the tournament this weekend. Is there enough ice to hold it?

There is definitely good ice. I was there yesterday on 4" of clear black ice. I don't know about towards the middle of the lake, but the arm I was in was fine.

Just got off the phone with Zack, he is the guy from Fin & Fur that is hosting the tournament. He said they are still planning on having it on Sat. They are aware of there being a spot where its still open water, out in the middle but said it was 4 to 4.5" just about everywhere else and its 7" in Taylor Hollow.

Are non tourney fishermen allowed to fish on a lake where a contest is being held?

Sure, not sure how they would stop you, he did say they did not want those in the tournament to use snowmoblies, because of that open water issue.
