We had a great morning jigging up the Crappie. Took us about an hour of moving around to find the fish but once we did the fishing was fast and fun. 2 of us had our limits of Crappie within about an hour or so. We also caught a handful or so of perch between us. I landed the 2 decent perch in the photo and had a Jumbo perch shake loose at my hole. I have a 10" auger and that perch was a good bit bigger than the diameter of my hole. Im guessing it might of gone 13" and was fat and girthy. Top crust was solid enough to hold exept for the occasional soft spot.

Nice Catch. I'm thinking we were near where you guys were. We got on at 0430ish this morning and there were some 10in holes barely frozen over all around where we were.

Edges were soft and would have needed a plank if it werent for the dock ramp.
They were however in the process of trying to re-freeze after the past warm rainy spell. Hoping they will be hard enough by Monday or Tuesday to get the wheeler on the ice.
