You caught a LMB out of willard, that's amazing, not many of those out there and a crappie on the same day, impressive, congrats Shawn. Were you in a boat or the ice?

Thanks Jeff. It started out bad, but ended up being a fun trip. Glad I was with someone else,  not alone.  Stupid auger. Likely only another couple weeks of safe ice left. Better get out while you can

It was through the ice. Oddly enough, I brought 29 LMBs topside that trip. All in the 12-13" range. Who knows, may have have just caught the same 3 fish 10 times each.

Wow, that's insane, I've never heard of anyone catching that many LM bass out of Willard, you must have hit a hot spot for LM bass. Congrats on such a great trip. If you don't mind me asking what were you using?

Fairly certain a wonderbread teardrop and wax worm did most of the work. I don't recall catching any on my perch eye rig. There's one swimming around with it still in its lip. I got lazy and didn't retie after catching a bunch.

So nothing special, like I thought. Must have just been a lot of them in that area, Was there a guy fishing on the docks that had a red or orange bucket? I'm just guessing you were fishing off the docks.
