Taking non-fishing high maintenance wife to Pineview 6/27/08

Wife [angelic]lost a bet last nite and Pineview with me on friday she goes. I told her she wont need no makeup on but she is still getting up earlier then our 5 am departure to put her makeup on.... I tried to tell her the fish wont know the difference but she wants to look good for her outing. I wonder if I throw her in the water, with all the splashing if she will attract any Tigers to come and inspect whats going on..... I even have a unbrella that attaches to the back of the seat for her.... lol I will start her off with bassrods dropshot/gulp minnow/senko outfit and then work her up to casting rapalas for tigers...... She hasn't fished since she was a kid....... long time ago.... lol I will take pics and post them friday nite...... wish me luck....

Your wife does not know what she is missing!!! My wife loves to go but never has the time . But she does have a 3 day weekend coming up so we are headed somewhere for fishing and camping not sure yet were but starvation is on top of her list right now.You two have fun .

camping, never, she wont do that ever. I want to buy a RV or 5th wheel with all the goodies (electric, water, bathroom, shower etc etc) but she says she wont go... I told her if she dont learn how to fish with me, she wont see me much on the weekends this summer.... The mall is a easy out for her. I get that all the time. She is stuck with me all day friday... she dont need a mall to do her shopping. She just ordered 1 bottle ofshampoo and 1 bottle of conditioner online and it set me back $120.00. Thats a tank of gas in my chevy and boat (well not quite) but I sure could put that money to better use than that. I am sure glad she doesn't go on this website at all, to see what I post.... lol

My sister once took a battery operated curling iron on a camping trip. I was like "We're out in the woods, who's gonna see you besides critters??"

And an RV for camping is cheating! The only reason I'm letting my dad get away with having one, is that he's 73, and I guess he deserves a rest from always pitching tents and gathering firewood. []

Good luck. But I do not know why you would want to ruin a perfectly good day fishing by taking some one that will not enjoy it. (but than again torturing the spouse is always fun to do) hehe. Mine likes to fish but makes excuses why she can go, which are mostly valid I guess. It is fun fishing with a spouse when they enjoy it. But as long as she lets you go as much as you want isn't that what friends are for. Any chances that if she ends up not getting out of it think you will get a pic with her touching a stinky slimy fish?

I honestly dont believe she will set the hook on a fish, so if the fish hooks itself than that will be the only way she will catch one... she keeps telling me the fish feel the pain of the hook, thats why they wiggle so much she says.... But no I dont believe I will get her to touch one... I will try and if she does I will take a pic.... lol.... Hopefully after the day is over we will still be husband and wife, if not hopefully friends maybe....lol

If she comes up with an excuse I'll send my wife over to yor house and we'll go fishin. I too was smart enough to put the boat and truck in my name alone. And when I deploy those to things do not have a power of attorney. Not saying I don't trust her I'm just saying that we do things to make each other hate the other alot and I am sure if she could she'd ditch the boat in a heartbeat. I was suprised that when I got backl this last time that she left it in the garage. I figured she'd figure out a way to get it out.


Well enough of that. Have fun I would have to kidnap mine to get her out there.
