Well, here is how my month of April went:

April 1: Lake Powell - Caught fish
April 8: Willard - Got skunked
April 15: Willard - Got skunked
April 22: Lake Powell - Caught fish
April 29: Willard - Got skunked

See a pattern here?...I've got almost 20 hours on Willard this year so far and only one guy in my boat caught one 19" wiper on April 15, but not me. I still haven't added one to my game count this year. In looking at my fishing journal from last year, I didn't catch a Wiper till late May or so last year either...and thats OK as long as late may this year is May 20...

I'm not sure if this will help but BLM said the radio and antenna must be a matched for it to work properly. I'm not sure if you will need to take it to a shop to match them but I bet Rich could give you the low down.
