Ok so by now everyone and their dog knows about Mantua ice so I’m not going to write about the trip. This is a post to say thanks to TubeDude and to recycle one of his recipes just in case any of you missed it. I made mine with cream of mushroom and added celery, green peppers and fresh parsley. After I shredded some thai pepper cheddar cheese I smoked last weekend on top. Oh momma was it good!!!! Thanks Pat for taking the time to write it up. It was very very good.

I'll echo your thanks to Tubedude for the recipe too. I made up a batch with some burbot a couple weeks ago. It was awesome and we're still enjoying leftovers! So thanks again Mr. Dude!

[#0000FF]Glad you got into some good "fixin's". Good lookin' fishies.
Also glad you enjoyed the chowder. As I have said many times, it is not an exact recipe that will explode if you change it in any way. That's the good thing about most soup recipes...you can adjust them to suit your own preferences and personal tastes.
As they say about "other things"...it's all good. Some better than others.
Best comment I ever got from someone trying my chowder for the first time: "The one thing wrong with it is you don't know when to stop eatin'."

Loved the pict of your worn out fishin pal.
Yes that chowder is tops. As soon as my arteries clear a bit I'm going to make it again.

I need to scale that down and build a mini pot since I only got a few white meat fish and none of my family will eat fish. But appreciate the repeat to remind us. Later J
