Very nice, so what's the conversion from stones to lbs? That's a lot of fish in one spot. Thanks J

Ok I'll answer my own question. A stone is equal to 14 lbs. that was a big fish. 19 stone = 266 lbs. I'm still looking for my 1 stone cat for our contest. Later J

I'm guessing they also call it a Sheatfish because after you land it you say "Holy Sheat"

Wels Catfish, yep they do get big. Don't know about Italy, but since it was reported in the Daily News in the UK, maybe the Italians do same as the Brits. The Brits consider Carp a Competition fish similar to Bass or Walleye, or maybe even Catfish here. I have a photo of my teenage grandson holding a quite large Carp a couple years ago. Don't know if it was in a Competition or not, but he had a Smile from ear to ear. Guess someday gonna have to get him back here to the US and take him up to upper Bear River and let him hook into a couple of those.

We'll soon find out if it was on Utah Lake or not. Contest opens this weekend. You pull one in that size I'll have to work hard to beat it. Good luck. J
