I have done well on all three trips this year. The key is to get away from the crowds, minimize the action you give your foxy jig (I like chartruse with something to "sweeten" the hook), and pay very close attention to the almost non-existant hits. I have found fish on the bottom at all depths up to 52'. The cutts seem to either be on the bottom or suspended at 8'-12'. The rainbows are still a mystery this year for me but people claim they are in the shallows in 6'-12' of water. I plan on concentrating at those depths this Friday & Monday.
