All the eggs are taken to Springville. They have to have 98% of them sterile after being tested to be considered successful and used in the sterile planting. They are tested after hatching and then have a dye introduced for future studies to see how successful the plantings are.
They also take the regular eggs that are not sterile to Springville as well. Both Sterile and Fertile Walleye after hatching are planted or released within 5 days as fry.
