It has been a warm winter, yet I have not read any reports on ice conditions on lakes that traditionally are first to ice: Scofield, Huntington, Mantua, etc. From what I hear, many people post on face book, well I don't do the face book thing, thus I rely on posts on this website. Anyone willing to post some reports?Scofield has been frozen and fishable for several weeks now. The Mirror Lake Highway (UT SR 150) ponds have been iced and fishable since early December. Lots of higher elevation lakes are iced and fishable currently. I have not seen ANY reports of fishable ice up and down the Wasatch region. I'll be starting - hopefully - when I get back from my Arkansas duck hunt on January 11th.
Thanks!
