And yes, it needs to be fought tooth and nail.  Your legislators will be for this bill simply because, for the most part, your legislators are landowners, and this bill definitely favors landOWNERS over land USERS (you and me).  You need to contact your legislators immediately, if not sooner, and DEMAND they vote against this bill.
