Where are you located? If you live close to a canal, I'd reccomend trying it out. I live near one, and it provided hours of enjoyment over the summer, mostly just tiny muds, but there are some bruiser carp, and channels as well, along with an occasional perch, bluegill or white bass, but they are very rare, i think I got two white bass total outa the canal last year. Anyway, when it comes through in about a month, give her a go if you can. Just rig some slip sinkers behind a swivel and give yourself a foot or two of leader, then a hook and drown some worms.
