There are not a lot of bass in Sandwash. There are some and they're big. If you want to catch bass from shore right now go to Pelican. They're up in the reeds and going like gangbusters. You'll need waders though or the swimmers itch will get you good. The North side by the old submerged road has a solid bottom for wading. You can catch lots of bass easily right now.
