I've been keeping track of my fishing reports for several years now and watching the peak times according to a lunar chart in "Field and Stream". On the days when the catching is good, I look at the chart and it has been right on. On days when the catching is poor I also checked the chart and it would say the fishing should have been good during the times we were fishing. I took in account weather but it seems like the chart was right less than 50% of the time. I still check the chart but I never count on it to tell me when I should go fishing. The problem that I see with the chart is, it says there is good fishing every day if you fish during a certain time. I find it hard to believe that catching can be good every day if I fish at the time on the chart. Just my opinion. WH2
