What inspired your BFT name!
#72
My name comes in two parts. First "Coldfooter" which I chose, and "Iceskrat" which was given to me 28 years ago this month.

"Coldfooting" is an old term we used to use for ice fishing, hence "going coldfooting", and since I live to punch holes through ice I chose "Coldfooter" as my leading handle on this fishing forum.

Iceskrats stems from Feb. 1976.
"Back in the day" (late 60's as kids) my brother and I would trap muskrats for a little pocket change and for some reason we tossed the 'Mu' and simply called them "skrats". Then in 1976 I began a life long hobby of flying R/C aircraft but had a major in flight malfunction with my first hand built plane and I ended up swimming the East Bay canal in early Feb. in my shorts to retrieve it. Then after walking 200 yards in only my shorts in temps in the single digits to the pickup I was told I looked like an "Iceskrat" and the nick name has stuck.
Btw,, yes the plane flew again, but the on board R/C (radio controll) system was shot after takin' the dunkin'
