[red][size 3]I backpacked up there last August for three days and the weather was unsettled at best. Beeee careful and plan for the worst (and the best!) The hike ain't that dang bad even with a thirty pound pack in the rain. I was thinking of taking my mountain bike next time and sticking with the main valley instead of the rocky cut off.
