Cutting your own Christmas Tree ???

Hunting Christmas trees has become a family tradition for my family. We started a few years ago andthe outting takes on greater importance every year. We usually get them on the Heber district on the Uintah NF but that window of opportuninty has past. You have to stand in line when they sell the permits and they are sold out usually the first day or two. Fortunately for me the outting is even more important to my wife than for me and she does the line and buying. My daughter ocassionally gets a tree on the Evanston district of The Wasatch-Cash NF. But I am not sure if they are available to people other than locals. It might be worth a call to find out.
