On the snow sticking to the sled part, a good trick I used was getting some wax for snowboards or skis and waxing the bottom of my jet sled, works like a champ, but I must agree, it was a very bad day fishing, one of the worst in my record books, I dont mind not catching but the conditions up there are really bad.
