Rules and ethics questions
#47
Why is the proc so hard to understand. If you keep fish, you're done when you reach the limit. Until you eat them. The rule about possesion (including your freezer) was to keep people from fishing 2 or 3 times a day and taking fish home. Example a couple years ago the DWR caught a couple they had been watching for quite a while. They were fishing at the Murray pond (community pond) catching their limit, leaving and coming back the same day. The DWR got a warrant and found over 100+ fish in the freezer. How many of you keep fish in the freezer and end up throwing them out after 6 months.
If you fish a multiple species water, and the trout limit is 5, keep 4 and keep on fishing. And you don't count fish you catch and release.

Check out the proc again, you're not including everything. It seems clear to me.[font "Futura-CondExtraBoldObl"][#231a5b] [left]C.
