someone educate me please!

[cool][#0000ff]They GOTCHA! I have never tried the red line, because it is based upon a "line", that fish can't see it. Like yourself, I asked myself the question..."Why do fish respond so well to red in lures?" I use a lot of red in my jigs and lures, and I have also proven to myself that red hooks can sometimes make a positive difference.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Maybe it has something to do with translucency. If the light goes through, it is less visible. Who knows.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]As a former diver, I know that reds fade out to shades of grey or black in deeper water. But, fish see light and colors differently than humans, so we can't judge based upon what we see.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If you like the line and it doesn't seem to decrease your catch, stick with it. Sometimes I think we try to overanalyze our fishing and forget the fun.[/#0000ff]
