Sunday morning I took my toon out to the bubble up. (I learned how to break ice from TD[
]) Ice was about 15' out, just outside the reedline but no more than a 1/2" thick. I tried some grubs and dunked a minnow but could'nt convince anything to bite. Went to Provo BH around noon, fished the south jetty by the river. I went out quite a ways hoping to find some walleys waiting for the right moment but no luck. I did get one bite about 750-800 ft offshore directly in front of the river channel. I was tossin' a grub and it bit the tail off, what was it? who knows. Water was just below a witches ... I'm glad I had my toe heaters!
