I am new to this site so I hope posting this won't get me in trouble but Fins & Feathers in Coeur d'Alene has a Salmon class that costs roughly a $100.00 per person and includes a night of instruction where Guide Jeff Smith will chat with the class and instruct everyone on exactly how to equip all the basic items needed to catch salmon. The best part is the following day everyone in the class will go out with the guide and rig up all there own equipment, under the watchfull eye of the guide, to test out what they have learned. This is meant to more of a learning experience for everyone than just a guided fishing trip since on a guided trip the guide usually does all the work and you can learn a lot, but on this trip you will so much more. Especially since some guides, in the area but none at Fins & Feathers, are known for being WAYYYY to secretive on what they are using and how they are doing it.
