I also use both the Diawa and the Okuma LC's and both work great. A professional walleye fisherman I know in the mid-west said that the Okuma had problems handling leaded line. He said the drag had issues after a few months of use. He pretty much said the Daiwa LC was his reel of choice.

Just make sure the drag on any reel you buy is smooth from full tight to full loose.
