[cool][#0000ff]Yeah, verily. I can synthsize with that line of thinking. When TubeBabe and I got "hooked up", I was raising my three younguns from a previous (non-fishing) marriage and she had two from hers. At one time we had 5 teenagers under one roof. Disputes? Of course. But, no collateral damage.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]As our kids have gone off and had families of their own, our space requirements have been downgraded. That REALLY does make it easier to "accomodate" a room for such essentials as tackle and tinkerin'. It also reduces the number of unexpected out-of-town guests. Nobody wants to sleep in my tackle room more than once. If nothing else the eerie lights of my glow jigs gives them the heebie jeebies. Then there are the strange noises that occasionally come out of my fur and feather bins...from the ghosts of critters who gave their all for my addictions.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]When I was younger, poorer and more dependent I would have given anything to have even a fraction of the space I now allocate for fishing goodies...or a fraction of the "stuff" I have accumulated that requires that much space. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]All I can say to our younger members is to be patient and acquire selectively. Take care of your education and your young families. Love them and enjoy them while you can because some day all you will have left is their vacated rooms. That time comes all too quickly. I guarantee that there will be moments when you would cheerfully exchange all of your ill-gotten tackle for some more time with your growed up younguns.[/#0000ff]
