Currant Creek 1-1-07 and 1-3-07

we went up the only way i know how. we went past strawberry and took the road that follows the currant creek river. this took us to the dam. there was snow on it, but not a ton. it gets deeper as you get close to the dam. it was very well traveled when we went up and we had no problems at all. we parked at the dam and drove the machine around the lake. a lot of people just walk down the dam to the lake. others walk accross the dam and then down to the lake. i maintain that 30 feet or less of water is best, and to fish the whole water column. im going to go up again in the morning, so i'll give an updated report when i return.
