Looks like we're in for another series of strange fish stories. I might as well add one of mine. I was fishing one of my favorite spots on the Bear River for Brown trout, using a spinner. But that's not important. I hooked a nice 15 incher and decided it was time for a nice baked trout dinner. I think I saved this fish's life because when I cleaned it out I discovered that it had swallowed, at some point in the not to distant past, a stick that was about 6 inches long. It had a close resemblance to a large minnow, in shape. I would bet that the fish would have eventually died from having eaten the stick. Glad I was there to do it a favor.
