Lepomis cyanellus, or more commonly referred to as the "Green Sunfish"
I caught one of those last Saturday at the Fabulous Utah Lake. Mine was about 9". (State record is 10 1/2"!)
Here is a pic. (The middle one: Green Sunfish) At first I though it was a bluegill, but then I caught a Blugill and saw the difference. (bluegill is the BOTTOM fish in the picture!)
Where did you catch yours?
