[#0000ff]Like Troll says, the inside diameter is large enough to accomodate most rod handles, but the outside diameter fits all the standard 1" fittings.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]They don't make the schedule 20 (light stuff) in sizes larger than 1", so if you have a rod that won't fit, you have to go to 1 1/4" schedule 40...much heavier.[/#0000ff]
