[cool][#0000ff]I have had similar experiences, both with Sportsmans and at Cabelas. They do not stock EVERYTHING that the discriminating and specialized angler might need. There are many things that you have to order online if you have a particular need. That is especially true in tackle craft...lure making, fly tying, rod building, etc. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Having been in retail sales, in the distant past, I can sympathize somewhat. Management has to make decisions as to what to stock to fill the available space. 100% of the time their decisions will be based upon a combination of demand and profitability. They must decide what the "average" angler will buy and in what quantities...and then that is what they stock.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I'm sure you understand all that, but it IS frustrating to make a trip to a major supplier, with a shopping list, and then not be able to find any or all of the items you can't live without. And then, the ultimate "warp factor" is the sales person who rolls their eyes, looks heavenward, shrugs and says "I don't make those decisions." That's when I make my decision to buy more online and less at the local tackletorium.[/#0000ff]
