]After much whinning and pleading, I convinced the crew to go to Huntington one more time to see if I couldn't get a little bigger tiger trout. We got there about 7:30. It was plenty cold and the wind blew the whole day. We went to the spot where we fished two weeks ago hoping it would still be hot. Started fishing by about 8:30. The ice is still very thick and was a job to drill through. We put the tip ups in the deeper holes and worked the others with poles. Things were a little slow. Then the tip up poped and the whole day changed. I pulled a 22 inch tiger trout out. Much yelling and dancing around. Things were still slow so we moved and found the school. It was hard to even get your line down, the fish were taking it on the way down. Must have iced 50 or 60 in the next two hours between 3 of us. What a wonderful day.
