FishMaster tubing's rod racks.....

[cool][#0000ff]Fishmaster sold some of the first commercial float tubes. They were great at the time, but very basic. However, they did sell some strap on rod holders that fit on the top of the tube. They did not work well, though and I lost a rod while using one.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I started using my own single tube PVC holder, as you can see in the attached two pics, as early as about 1978. Since the Fishmaster has few D rings, I had to just lash it on with nylon rope and air it up high enough to keep it tight with friction.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]By the way, the picture with all the catfish was a picture combining 4 limits from an all night cat-tubing trip. Of course I caught the three biggest ones...up to 14 pounds.[/#0000ff]
