Plastic Dip & Breathable Waders
#8
I concur with TD's assessment of the Hodgman waders. I've had two sets of Hodgman breathables (Wadelite and Stretchlite). Both developed leaks after surprisingly short use. The seams at the top of the bootfoot are especially vulnerable. But it seems like once they start develping the pin hole leaks they go all at once. Conversely, I've had Hodgman neoprene waders last for years. I keep a pair of the neo's around for really cold days and for guests.

I've never sprung for the highest quality waders like Simms, but I have had very good results with a pair of Dan Bailey breathables. They're on the fourth season this year. Not a single leak yet.

My two cents.
