They are a killer idea (I HAD a pair) in that you can walk forwward, you don't slip on slime, but the flipper part is way small and doesn't push much water. I will say I have another pair similar to them and I let a friend use them in the H3 and she had no problems at all, so I will add it depends on what kind of tube you have. Toon it doesn't much matter with the oars and specially with a motor cause they are for steering only.
But for hard core tubing....look at the scubba fins. Cheap and really move the water.
If I didn't have Force Fins, I would have the Scubba's.
