300 yards is not that big on Mead. We pulled up on a point and there were constant little boils all the way towards the back of the cove. We were not fishing them but pulled in a few for fun on a fluke and 1 on a spook all 1 to 2lb range. tried to fish under them and even caught one on a brushhog on the retrieve.
